Mat Steinmetz began his professional bike fitting career in 2009 when he was hired to run the Boulder Retul fit studio. While at Retul, Mat maintained a commercial fit schedule and helped create Retul's education platform - Retul University. During this time, Mat traveled the world educating bike fitters, attended pro tour cycling camps, and became and industry leading bike fit and performance consultant.
In 2013, Mat joined the Guru Advisory board. As part of this board, he has implemented new fit technology, overhauled fit curriculum, and organized an International instructor network.
